Alexander Goulet

Status: Player Induction Date: August, 2024

For the dedication to the game he loves and his superior and consistent dedication to Journeyman Basketball, our board and players association would like to induct Alex Goulet into the Hall of Fame.

In June of 2016 Alex laced up his high-tops to join us for a Journeyman session. And it wasn’t until 21 sessions later that he would stop. This quiet guard showed superior effort in just under 240 games in an impressive 9-year run with the program. Alex established himself as a consistent jump shooter and stress-free teammate, someone who was relied upon for key rebounds in crucial game situations. Alex’s calm demeanor was truly impressive. He never put himself ahead of the team and focused on what he could do to help the team succeed. Alex compiled 3 career double doubles and earned player of the game 13 times during his tenure. He also appeared in 5 YAMO Games showcasing the best of their current division.

Alex’s support of community service projects was also impressive. Alex completed these tasks simply because he knew it was the right thing to do. He was never afraid to roll up his sleeves and get to work for a good cause.

We truly believe that consistency and effort should be rewarded at Journeyman. Twenty-one consecutive sessions of drama-free dedication is what Alex provided. Fellow Senior Session athletes didn’t hesitate to draft Alex quickly as they too wanted a great teammate focused on team objectives.

The board and staff of Journeyman want Alex to understand that they valued his effort and support of the program. Furthermore, we are sure that future teams and places of employment will benefit from his reliability and solid character. Please join us in congratulating Alex Goulet, a true Journeyman.
