A truly impressive game across the board and an even better volunteer, character and dedicated Journeyman. Help us welcome Brady Rogers to our prestigious Hall of Fame.
Brady’s dedication to the program and love for the game of basketball is second to none. His support of his teammates and volunteer work also are extremely impressive. He took advantage of many on court volunteer opportunities with the program, creating a a win-win situation for both sides. Brady could help us out and he got to be around the game he loved. His quality of work was top notch and his punctuality on par with Journeyman’s elite.
Some of Brady’s individual achievements include JJE-49 Division 2 Best Defensive Player, JJE-57 Division 1 Best Defensive Player, Journeyman’s 62nd Session Most Improved Player, SJE-62 Senior Division Championship Game Most Valuable Player, SJE-64 Senior Division Best Defensive Player, SJE-66 Senior Division Most Valuable Player, SJE-67 Senior Division Championship Game Most Valuable Player, SJE-67 Senior Division YAMO All-Star Game Most Valuable Player, SJE-70 Tournament Point Leader and SJE-70 Vinny Award Recipient. Brady has achieved 4 Career Triple Doubles, 21 Career Double Doubles, has earned Player of the Game honors 15 times and has made the YAMO Game roster 9 times in his career.
In addition to these impressive statistics, you will find a gifted shooter, an unselfish passer, a solid defender and a superior teammate. Through his tenure with the program, he crafted a complete game. Brady also took the time to encourage lesser skilled athletes to ensure they understood the impact they could have if they applied themselves. He never put himself ahead of team objectives and never drew attention to himself. Brady’s impact on SELECT Travel Basketball was equally impressive. He brought his work ethic and effort time and time again and motivated his teammates to do the same.
Journeyman values a player that lets their game do the talking. Applying themselves the best they can and working on those areas they believe they need to improve. Qualities like this will serve him well at future learning institutions and places of employment. We, at Journeyman, believe he will always be a great teammate. We hope he understands he will always be welcome at Journeyman. Please join us in congratulating Brady Rogers, a true Journeyman.
