You can help make Journeyman a great organization in the community

There are many ways you can volunteer for the Journeyman program.

Although we have some paid staff members, this program relies on its volunteers for a variety of tasks. You can officiate, work the stat bench, game coach, practice coach or even work with us on our scheduled community service projects. And all the questions you may have about volunteering can be answered by sending an e-mail to info@journeymanbasketball.com.

VOLUNTEER GAME COACHES
There is a process involved in being a game coach for the program. The steps below must be followed in order to coach your own team.

Step 1 – Send an e-mail to info@journeymanbasketball.com This e-mail must clearly state your desire to coach a team along with qualifications you think are necessary in its regard.
Step 2 – Journeyman staff will ask you to review our current JPA Contract, Coaches Guideline document, Dress Code document and possibly attend a short coaches clinic.
Step 3 – When the staff accepts you as a coach, you will be asked to be present at divisional practices leading to and attending a divisional team building exercise. You will also be asked to take art in voting processes at the end of a session.
